Our Weitblick Apartment is located in Altenburg at 614 m above sea level, at the edge of the beech forest. From here, numerous hiking trails begin, winding through woods and meadows. Particularly beautiful excursions include hikes to the impressive Rastenbach Gorge, the Early Christian ruins of St. Peter, the local favorite Göller mountain, the Kalterer Höhenweg, and many more! Both the short panoramic circular trail and the idyllic Peace Trail offer fantastic viewing platforms with unique views of Lake Caldaro.
Lake Caldaro lies just 8.5 km away and offers a refreshing swim, particularly combined with a visit to the nearby outdoor pool in Tramin.
